The University of West England's research between May to July 2022 sought to explore the experiences of participants and facilitators in Get Togethers networking activities.
From the outset, we have sought to build a learning community of Get Togethers organisers. This study highlights how Get Togethers Network Events in particular have fulfilled a demand for practical guidance, peer support and collaborations around community-based action on good food.
Networks are integral to social movements, and this evidence shows that we have facilitated connections between local and national community-food stakeholders.
