3. Get inspired

There are so many examples of Get Together activities that have brought people together.

Gold Food for Life School Washingborough Academy didn't want lockdown in Covvid-19 to stop their connection with their community, so their school kitchen served hot meals to the elderly in their community - and set up a lunchtime call with pupils!

4. Be part of something bigger

There are lots of ways we can come together while social distancing. Find out more about events for you to get involved in as a household, online or while social distancing.

Do make sure you follow the government guidance in your area whatever you decide to do.

“It has been such an encouragement at this time, to see our foodbank volunteers step up and show ongoing devotion to genuine practical love for the members

of our community in need.”
