Food Sense Wales is built on the foundations of Food Cardiff, a multi award winning food partnership and founding member of the Sustainable Food Places Network. We deliver pioneering programmes such as Sustainable Food Cities, Peas Please, Food Power and Food For Life Get Togethers. Taking the approach of “advocacy by example” we focus on finding workable solutions through on the ground experience and citizen voice, and use these to effectively advocate for the changes needed to local and national policy to build a just and sustainable food system.

Food Sense Wales hosts the Wales Regional Programme Manager for Food for Life Get Togethers. We work with key partners such as Public Health Wales, Dietetics and WLGA to embed Get Togethers into local and national settings and programmes.
